Laura Math


Laura Math joined Prof. Gerpott’s team as a PhD student in April 2018. Before she finished her Bachelor in Economics and Culture Anthropology at Georg-August University Göttingen as well as in Psychology at Leiden University. She then graduated from the Work and Organizational Master program at VU Amsterdam. During her studies she worked as a student assistant at the Georg-August University and gained work experience in different HR consulting projects.
Laura’s PhD project seeks to shed light on the underlying processes of the complex interplay between prestige- and dominance-based leadership in leader-follower interactions under various circumstances. Alongside her studies, Laura works as a consultant at the strategy consultancy The Huehn Initative.

Sofia Schlamp


Sofia Schlamp joined Prof. Gerpott’s team in April 2017 as an external doctoral candidate. Her PhD focus is to understand the impact of organization's hierarchical structure on the representation of women in leadership positions. Sofia’s current research interests include leadership, management of gender diversity, and team dynamics. Alongside her studies, Sofia works as a Graduate Recruiter at Royal Dutch Shell.
